Reading
I don't read as much as I'd like to (life is quite busy) but these are things I keep coming back to.
Sometimes I also cheat a bit with Blinkist. It’s not the same as reading the full thing, but it’s good enough to steal a couple of ideas and decide what’s actually worth my limited attention.
Currently reading
- Todd Rogers, Jessica Lasky-Fink — Writing for Busy Readers
A short, practical book about writing for people who are already tired, distracted, and in a hurry. Feels relevant to pretty much every interface and message we ship.
Picked up often
- Gabriel Weinberg, Lauren McCann — Super Thinking
I've read it once and now dip back into it from time to time. It's a catalog of mental models — useful when I'm trying to make sense of product decisions and human behavior without overcomplicating things. - Dylan Dog (monthly issues)
My long-term comfort reading. Horror, melancholy and social commentary in comic form. Not "productive", just something that fits my brain when everything else feels too loud.
